PEMBROOK PINES ACQUIRES OLEAN AM/FM COMBO

Deal for WMXO (FM) / WOEN (AM) Closes

In a transaction which closed today, Pembrook Pines, Inc. acquired radio stations WMXO (FM) and WOEN (AM) in Olean, New York for undisclosed consideration from Vox Radio Group.

In the deal Pembrook acquired Olean stations - WMXO (FM) 101.5mHz 1.5kw-'404 HAAT {Hot AC} and WOEN (AM) 1360kHz - 1kw day/.30 night {Nostalgia}.

Pembrook is headed by Robert J. Pfuntner, President/CEO while Vox is headed by Bruce Danzinger, President/CEO and Jeffrey Shapiro, COO.

Pembrook also operates radio stations in other New York State locations, including Elmira-Corning, Ithaca, Olean and Rochester.

Dick Foreman of Richard A. Foreman Associates, Inc. initiated the deal and served as exclusive broker in the transaction.
